I’m mostly a lurker in the fediverse, so I tend to look at the “known network” feeds on certain Pleroma instances and not much at others. Recently I’ve peeked at a few Mastodon instances, and I noticed the “gaining traction” feed is now front and center on the main page. I thought the whole point of moving off Twitter was to get away from algorithms deciding what you see. 🤔
